Indonesia’s official delegates
to the 2020 Y20 Summit in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Hello Indonesian youths across the world! The time has come to announce the official Indonesian delegation to the 2020 Y20 Summit in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia! The Saudi Arabian Organizing Committee has decided to take three representatives from each G20 member-state for the Summit! There is also an increase in age group this year to facilitate a greater range of young professionals. This year, we are proud to see a 2.1% acceptance rate, showing increasing enthusiasm for this program.

The Indonesian Youth Diplomacy (IYD) family would also like to express our highest appreciation to all of you who have shown genuine interest in representing Indonesia this year. We are deeply honored by all the hours that our applicants spent in perfecting their CVs, writing their essays, and preparing for the interviews. Your enthusiasm and effort are a great honor for us. In narrowing down from 140+ applicants to Top 20 and finally Top 3, the IYD Recruitment Team has gone through intensive evaluation stages during the grading round using clear indicators, long hours of deliberation, and eventually coming up with tough and informed decisions. Not only we ensure a fair and objective process, we have also committed ourselves to a transparent and robust approach to reach the final consensus.

Rahayu Saraswati D. Djojohadikusumo was born on January 27, 1986, in Jakarta, Indonesia. She is a wife and mother of two young sons. She has been an activist for the fight against human trafficking since 2009 and founded the Parinama Astha Foundation in 2012. Her advocacy led to her decision to run for parliament in 2013 and after running a rigorous and successful campaign, she was elected in 2014 as a Representative from Central Java IV District for the People's Representative Council of the Republic of Indonesia. During her term, she represented the people in the 8th Commission, which was in charge of Social Affairs, Religious Affairs, Women Empowerment and Children Protection, and Disaster Risk and Relief Management. 

She continued her advocacy and at the end of 2018, she initiated the National Network for Anti Human Trafficking (JarNas Anti TPPO). After finishing her term, she is now helping to develop the family business, Arsari Group, which works to provide climate solutions through agroforestry, reforestation, and sustainable energy. This perfectly correlates with her passion for the environment and its preservation. Aside from that, she will also be developing sustainable tourism and sustainable technological innovations. 

This year, she is proud and honored to have been selected as the Head of the Indonesian Youth Diplomacy Delegation for the Y20 Summit in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. She hopes her experience as a representative of Indonesia in the Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Committee, knowledge, and expertise would serve her and her country well. 

Gracia Billy Mambrasar, or known as Billy is one of the recently appointed President Jokowi's special staffer. Prior to this appointment, He is a social entrepreneur, managing 2 profit making companies, and one education foundation called: KITONG BISA,  providing free education services for the underprivileged Indonesian kids in his Homeland: Papua. Since 2009, Billy has been educating more than 1,100 underprivileged kids, and provide them with scholarship and opportunity to continue to the tertiary education level.

Billy has quite an extensive experience in international forums. Notably, he was appointed as Indonesia's delegation to speak at the United Nations Youth Assembly in 2017, one of Indonesia's representative for the Young South East Asia Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) in the USA where he was given an opportunity to meet with the now US former President Barrack Obama, and was also a World Islamic Economic Forum youth fellow, when he met the Nobel Prize Winner: Muhammad Yunus, from Bangladesh. 

Billy is currently finalizing his second masters degree in Oxford University, United Kingdom, after graduating from his first Masters Degree from the Australian National University (ANU), at which he graduated as the Student of the Year, Vice Chancellor Special Commendation award. Aside from his daily work with the President, Billy still has time to fulfil his passion through his hobbies in Singing, Dancing, Music and other performing arts.

Tommy Aditya graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Economics (with Honours). He has accumulated nine years of working experience in education, entrepreneurship, and economics.

Currently, Tommy works as an international relations analyst at Bank Indonesia, the central bank of the Republic of Indonesia, where he oversees Indonesia’s international financial cooperations. His portfolio includes strengthening Indonesia’s global financial safety net and developing local currency settlement framework in the ASEAN region.

As an education enthusiast, he has previously volunteered as a teaching fellow in Teach for China, an educational nonprofit organization under the umbrella network of Teach for All, where he taught overcrowded classrooms of hundreds of students in rural China. He has continuously channeled his passion for education in Indonesia, ranging from mentoring interpersonal skills to Indonesian migrant workers to arranging educational camps to natural disaster-stricken cities across Indonesia.

His avid curiosity to solve problems has led him to pursue multiple MSMEs endeavors. He founded various startups in the textile and F&B sectors that enabled multiple local vendors. As a cancer survivor, Tommy also actively builds a cancer support awareness platform for youths to motivate them to overcome the disease. Tommy finds pleasure in traveling, he particularly enjoyed his time backpacking across China, India, and Indonesia.
