Youth Innovative Challenge

The ASEAN Youth Innovation Challenge (YIC) will consist of two parallel competitions: the Business Collaboration Competition (BCC) and the Policy Case Competition (PCC).

Competition

Business Collaboration Competition (BCC)

BCC aims to create and strengthen a network of early stage startups across ASEAN in the hopes the network will boost these startups’ ability to synergise with resources in the region, such as established companies, government, and governmental organizations, and accelerate startups growth, thereby creating lasting impact on the region.

As a business competition, the YIC BCC is open to existing early startups across the ASEAN countries solving the three of the five priority topics under the ASEAN Youth Agenda 2023:

Food Security, Green Economy, and Future of Education and Work.

Policy Case Competition (PCC)

The policy case competition aims to provide young people across ASEAN with the opportunity to propose solutions to the most pressing issues facing ASEAN today from the lens of public policy.

The PCC is open for all ASEAN youth who have interest and passion to solve the problems facing ASEAN through policy case around three priority topics under the ASEAN Youth Agenda 2023:
